US News & World Report Magazine does a good job of reporting the events that shape our society. I enjoy the political and social news articles which seem to give a balanced and objective report. This magazine focuses heavily on politics and social issues with only a small section dedicated to entertainment news. So keep that in mind when ordering this magazine. If you want a fairly objective report of politics, religion, and society then I would recommend this magazine.

US News and World Report Magazine has become my favorite choice of the big three. I tried Newsweek. They were entertaining but very speculative and seemed to strive for the controversial so as to gain face time on MSNBC. Time magazine was my favorite for years but recently, with their hookup with CNN, seems to be striving for the sensational as in "Be Worried, be Very Worried" global warning issue. This tipped me over the edge in light of their 1970's headline about the new ice age scare. I needed something more down to earth and rational and found myself asking to look at my co-worker's US News when he was done. I especially enjoy Michael Barone, the walking encyclopedia of US politics and history. Now I have my own subscription from Mags4cheap, the absolute best magazine source, bar none. And no I don't work there.

U.S. News and World Report Magazine is a nice news magazine that offers up to date news reporting with concise articles that quickly get to the point. The editorials do not appear to be biased towards being either conservative or liberal and thus offer a broad perspective to those who want to be informed readers. In general, the pictures are not too graphic so your kids can read this magazine also.

Informative. Precise. Interesting. Variety. Each of the previous words describes U.S. News. & World Report. Its focus is on a broad range of topics and doesn't center only on the U.S. like other news magazines. We are all connected and need to know what is happening outside of our borders. At the same time, there are good articles that do deal with local issues and provides the facts for both sides. After having 3 current event magazine subscriptions simultaneously for two years, this is the only magazine I renewed for the third year.

I bought this subscription to US News and World Report for my husband to help him keep a pulse on what's happening in the world, but I must say that I too enjoy keeping up with domestic and global happenings with this publication. The articles are well written, it's CURRENT, and seems to be more "middle of the road" than some magazines with strong "left-wing" vibes. If you don't have time for a daily newspaper, this weekly magazine is for you, to keep you "in the know" of what's happening around you.

I really enjoy reading the U.S. News and World Report magazine. I have been subscribing to this magazine for more than 10 years. I switched over from Time magazine, after subscribing for more than 15 years, when they made one too many format revisions for me. Over the last 10 years, U.S. News and World Report has updated its format numerous times but has remained reader friendly. They report on timely issues in the news and they also do in depth articles on health issues and other items of concern to the public. When I finish reading the magazine, I give it to my 16-year-old nephew who also enjoys reading it. I have just renewed my subscription for 4 more years and I look forward to receiving my next issue.
